Keene Valley with Richard Longstreth

The Town of Keene Valley occupies a fertile, mountainous stretch along the Ausable River valley and has long attracted artists, ministers, writers and outdoor enthusiasts. The initial farm houses and boarding houses were added to in the 1870s with elegant hotels and private cottages for affluent visitors.
In this special tour, gain privileged access into several of these private homes and clubs. Beginning on the southern end of the valley, we will work our way north stopping to see Putnam Camp, the Ausable Club, Uplands and Rivermede Farm.
The tour is led by architectural historian and long-time Keene Valley resident Richard Longstreth.
The tour begins at 10 a.m. and ends around 3:30 p.m.
