2023 AARCH Raffle

Our annual raffle is an important source of AARCH’s funding each year. In addition to supporting our preservation, education, and advocacy efforts in Adirondack communities, it highlights small businesses and organizations throughout the region.
Thanks to the generosity of our friends and partners, we are able to offer these fabulous prizes this year:
Adirondack-Style Tiffany Lamp from Meyda Tiffany. Meyda Lighting has donated this stunning 21-inch Lone Deer Table Lamp, which features a coral art glass shade with the silhouette of a deer scampering under the bright sun. The shade is complemented with a pine tree base finished in textured black. Prize valued at $915.

Two Nights Lodging for two at The Hedges on the shores of Blue Mountain Lake. Built in the late 1800s, this unique National Register-listed Adirondack Great Camp offers the perfect ambiance for a summer getaway. This prize includes a full made-to-order breakfast each day and a four-course meal in the evening as well as access to on-site equipment and activities, from paddling and fishing to tennis and billiards. With The Hedges as your base camp, you can also venture out to hike, visit the Adirondack Experience museum, or explore nearby historic sites. Prize expires October 8, 2023. Prize valued at $850.
Two-Night Stay at The Barn at Fire Sky Farm just outside the quaint village of Greenwich. Nestled in the beautiful Battenkill Valley, guests will enjoy a cozy stay in a post and beam barn on the farm. Enjoy the property’s walking trails, antique store (open on weekends), and seasonal flower field. There is plenty to explore nearby, including a rich downtown historic district, and the hosts are always happy to offer recommendations! Prize expires May 1, 2024. Prize valued at $300.
One-Year Membership and Gift Certificate to the Adirondack Folk School. Located in Lake Luzerne with an annex in Lake George, the Adirondack Folk School (AFS) is dedicated to preserving and sharing the arts, crafts, and traditions of the Adirondack region. AFS instructors share their expertise and enthusiasm for a wide range of local traditions, from basketry to blacksmithing. The winner of this prize will receive one year of membership to AFS, which includes discounts on class tuition, special events, and some gift shop items. The prize also includes a $150 gift certificate towards tuition and materials for any class. Prize expires May 31, 2024. Prize valued at $205.
Railbiking Passes for Four at any of Revolution Rail’s locations in the Adirondacks and beyond. Launched in North Creek, Revolution Rail now provides immersive adventures along retired rail lines in New York, Maine, Colorado, and New Jersey. Railbiking is an exciting way to experience the landscape by riding the railroad tracks under your own power. It’s a fun and safe outdoor activity for all ages! Revolution Rail has many Adirondack locations to choose from, including their run in Hadley, which passes by the historic Hadley Bow Bridge, a unique lenticular truss bridge across the Sacandaga River. Prize valued at $160.
Six-Month Coffee Subscription from Tug Hill Artisan Roasters. For Tug Hill Artisan Roasters, coffee isn’t just what you drink to get you going in the morning — it’s part of a worldwide story. Their coffee subscriptions share these stories far and wide and further their commitment to ethical sourcing and building community. Prize valued at $120.
One-Year Membership to AARCH and Two Spots on any 2022 AARCH Tour. When you set out on an adventure with AARCH, you can expect to see both beloved Adirondack landmarks and hidden treasures off the beaten path. Our tours give you exclusive access to historic buildings and sites not often open to the public, from Adirondack Great Camps and industrial sites to mid-century modern homes. As our tours fill up quickly, the winner will have one week to choose their tour. Our tour offerings will be sent to members in late April; if the winner is not already a member, they will receive our tour schedule when they are notified about the prize. Prize valued at $120.

Champlain Valley Breweries Bundle. Prize is valued at $60 and includes the following:
Growler with One Free Fill from Ausable Brewing Company (ABC). ABC is a farm-based nanobrewery housed in an 1880s barn on 140 acres in the Champlain Valley just east of the Adirondack High Peaks. They are dedicated to serving a variety of high quality ales, lagers, and house sodas in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. Family and dog-friendly, ABC is open May-December, with special events over the winter.
Flannel Shirt from Oval Craft Brewing. Based in an 1890 fire station on the former U.S. Army/Air Force Base in Plattsburgh, Oval Craft brews a variety of beers, from New England IPAs to Oatmeal Stouts — they have a variety of balanced flavors to suit anyone’s tastes. Visitors to their tasting room can also see the building’s story illustrated in historic photographs of its use by the military.
