- Win a custom architectural drawing by AARCH Advisory Council member and architect, J.B. Clancy
We will gather at White Pine Camp to celebrate AARCH and honor former AARCH board member and president, Andrew Prescott. Andy is a retired architect who co-founded the firm Einhorn Yaffee Prescott Architecture and Engineering (EYP), which completed notable adaptive use and preservation projects across the world. Andy also helped found Historic Albany Foundation and served as president of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), regulating architectural practice throughout the United States.
Established on Osgood Pond in 1907 and expanded in subsequent years, White Pine Camp is perhaps most famous for being the “Summer White House” of President Calvin Coolidge 100 years ago this year. Architects William Massarene and Addison Mizner worked with well-known Adirondack master builder Ben Muncil to construct this unique Adirondack Great Camp, which lends its own flair to the iconic camp style.
Join us for an afternoon of conviviality to honor Andy Prescott and celebrate this distinctive Great Camp!
Proceeds from this event benefit AARCH’s preservation, education, and advocacy efforts in towns and communities throughout the Adirondack region.
