Nature Walk at Santanoni

Join Charlotte Demers at 10 AM on Saturday, August 30 for a morning nature walk to the Santanoni Farm Complex. Participants will meet in the upper parking lot by the Gate Lodge to begin a one-mile stroll to the Farm. We will be walking at a slow pace on this flat dirt road, identifying common plants along the way and discussing their natural history and historical uses. Plan on two hours to reach the Farm Complex, with the return to the parking lot at your own pace.  Participants should bring insect repellent, water, snacks, and appropriate footwear/clothing for a two-mile round trip hike. This walk is free and open to the public and is co-sponsored by AARCH and SUNY ESF’s Adirondack Interpretive Center (AIC).
