Due to their popularity, tours fill quickly and we highly recommend becoming a member to take advantage of priority registration and discounted rates. AARCH members get priority access in our tour lottery, which happens in mid-May. For more on the tour lottery, see below.
Tour registration is open to non-members at any time but are considered after member requests. Please check our events calendar or call the office for availability on current programs and note that a waitlist is kept on all programs. Should cancellations occur, we fill spots via the waitlist.
TOUR LOTTERY
Reservations for AARCH tours and events are made through a registration process starting with this newsletter’s release. Due to a high volume of requests for limited spaces, most AARCH tours are filled through a lottery process unless otherwise noted.
AARCH members receive priority access to the tour lottery. We accept reservation requests from non-members at any time but these are considered after member requests.
Important Tour Lottery Dates:
- Thursday, May 14: Deadline for tour requests. Return requests to AARCH via:
– Google form
– Email your Tour Request Form to info@aarch.org
– Mail your Tour Request Form to AARCH at 1745 Main Street, Keeseville, NY 12944
- Week of May 12: AARCH holds the Tour Lottery. All requests received by 8 am on Monday, May 12 are randomly drawn. Requests from both members and non-members received after 8 am on May 12 will be honored in the order they are received.
- Week of May 19: Participants are notified by email (or mail) of their confirmed reservations. Please contact the office if you have not heard from us by Friday, May 23. Participants will be invoiced with their confirmation email.
- Monday, June 16: Tour payments are due. After this date, non-payment results in the forfeiture of a reservation. Note that payment is due immediately upon receipt of invoice.
After tours are filled, we automatically place names on a waiting list. Should cancellations occur, we notify those on the waiting list in the order that their requests were processed.
If you cannot attend a tour for which you have registered, AARCH will consider your payment a donation. Note that AARCH tours happen rain or shine. In the rare event that AARCH must cancel a scheduled tour, we will issue a refund.
